Data protection is of utmost importance for the Energy Agency of Friuli Venezia Giulia (APE FVG) and we want to ensure maximum openness and transparency regarding the processing of your Personal Data. For this reason, this document illustrates how users’ Personal Data are processed and protected.

Who is the owner of the user’s personal data?
The data controller is the Energy Agency of Friuli Venezia Giulia (APE FVG) based in Gemona del Friuli (UD) via Santa Lucia 19, in the person of the legal representative. APE FVG will process your Personal Data in compliance with EU Regulation no. 2016/679 and the national legislation on the protection of Personal Data (hereinafter “Privacy Law”).

How we treat your Personal Data

Your Personal Data will be processed in a mainly automated form, with logic strictly related to the related purposes, and the processing will be carried out in compliance with every precautionary measure that guarantees its security and confidentiality.
The Data Controller has assessed the level of security as adequate taking into account the risks that could arise from loss, destruction, modification, unauthorized disclosure, accidental or illegal access, abuse, or alteration of your Personal Data. In particular:
– it has adopted security measures appropriate to the risks;
– store your Personal Data on servers mainly located in the European territory and subject to advanced back-up systems.

Where is the Personal Data stored?
The Data we collect from users is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”). Any transfer of Personal Data will be carried out in accordance with applicable laws.

Where do we process the data?
Personal Data are mainly processed at the offices of the Data Controller and in the places where the data processors are located.

Who has access to your data?
User data can only be shared within APE FVG, which does not transfer, sell or exchange users’ personal data with third parties.

What rights does the user have?
Right of access:
You have the right to request information about your Personal Data in our possession at any time. The user can contact APE FVG, which will provide all Personal Data by e-mail.
Right of rectification:
You have the right to request the rectification of Personal Data if it is incorrect, including the right to request the completion of incomplete Personal Data.
If the user has an APE FVG account, he can modify his Personal Data by logging in through his account.
Right of cancellation:
The user has the right to delete any personal data processed by APE FVG at any time, by logging in through their account or using the appropriate link published at the bottom of each newsletter or by contacting the Data Controller at web@ape.fvg.it
User’s right to object to the processing of data based on legitimate interests: 
The user has the right to object to the processing of personal data based on the legitimate interest of APE FVG. APE FVG will not continue to process Personal Data unless it is able to demonstrate a legitimate basis for the processing, which overrides the interests and rights of the user or for legal reasons.
Direct marketing:
APE FVG does not use Personal Data for direct marketing activities.

Right to lodge a complaint with a competent Supervisory Authority:
If the user believes that APE FVG is processing Personal Data incorrectly, he or she can contact us. Furthermore, the user has the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

Updates to our Privacy Policy: Updates to our Privacy Policy
may be required. The most recent version of the Notice is always available on our website. Users will be informed of any material changes to the Privacy Policy, for example, the purpose of the processing of Personal Data, the identity of the Owner, or the rights of users.

How long do we keep your Personal Data
In order to ensure compliance with the principles of necessity and proportionality of the processing, the Data Controller has identified different retention times of Personal Data in relation to the individual purposes pursued:
– for the purposes of managing your registration on the Site as well as the activities related to the activation and use by you of the services offered therein and to your interaction with the Site, your Personal Data will be kept for the time strictly necessary for this and in any case at the latest until your profile is active;
– for the purpose of managing and responding to your requests, your Personal Data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to process your request;
– for the purpose of sending newsletters, your Personal Data, excluding contact data, will be kept for the time strictly necessary for this and in any case at the latest until your profile is active.

Minors Minors
under the age of 16 must not provide information or Personal Data to APE FVG in the absence of the consent of the exercisers of parental responsibility for them. In the absence of such consent, it will not be possible to register the minor on the Site.
