The redevelopment of the urban settlement structure takes place through microclimatic improvement and reduction of “heat islands”; reduction of vehicular flows; reduction of water and energy consumption; improvement of water quality not subjected to purification; increase of the tree heritage in urban areas and rural urban areas; mitigation of the impacts on the main infrastructures with green barriers.
