Description

The ordering elements related to a river environment are represented by the geological structure, the network of waters (rivers, springs and groundwater aquifers), green places (woods, cultivated areas, valleys, parks, gardens), historical places and archaeological sites as well as ancient or recent linear structures (historical routes, paths, park roads, aqueducts).

Urban settlements are built adapting to the river environment instead of suppressing it.
